Our historic Whalen House Museum is slowly returning to its original look from over a century ago. This was the home of Gordon pioneers John and Aggie Whalen, constructed in 1907. It now houses our historic collections and a genealogical research room.

Originally the structure was a warehouse for Antoine Gordon’s Trading Post. In 1907 Antoine’s granddaughter, Aggie Whalen, had it moved and converted into a small house. Aggie would later move the house again onto a lot next door. In 1980 it was moved to where it is today and became our Museum. This little building has stood in FOUR different locations in downtown Gordon!
